Sand-Texture Terracotta for Soft, Mineral-Like Facades
A sand-textured face reduces visual gloss and adds a fine-grained reading to terracotta panels. The result can feel quiet from a distance while revealing more tactile depth at entrances, podium levels and other close-view areas.
Surface language
Texture that supports colour rather than competing with it
The sand series is intended for projects where a completely smooth face would appear too uniform, but a strong relief pattern would be excessive. Grain, colour and panel module should be judged together because the same texture can read differently on pale, red, brown or dark-fired clay.
Low-key visual depth
A granular surface catches light softly and can give broad elevations a more material presence without relying on deep ribs or large sculptural profiles.
Close-view interest
Sand textures are useful where occupants approach the facade. A project sample should confirm grain scale, touch, edge treatment and cleaning expectations.
Coordinated palette
The surface may be reviewed with the selected clay body and colour direction. Digital swatches are not a substitute for an approved fired sample.

Approve appearance under realistic conditions
Texture affects highlights, shadow and perceived colour. Samples should therefore be viewed vertically and, where possible, under exterior daylight. For large or visually sensitive projects, a mock-up helps the team judge joint alignment, viewing distance and the way adjacent batches are blended.
The sand finish is the visible surface of a non-structural cladding panel. Wind design, rails, anchors, cavity, insulation, membranes, drainage and all perimeter conditions belong to the complete facade system and require project engineering.

Manufacturing and custom feasibility
