Terracotta Jali Blocks for Ventilation, Shade and Privacy
Terracotta Jali Blocks—also known as terracotta breeze blocks or clay screen blocks—create permeable walls that temper sunlight, encourage air movement and give a building a distinctive layer of depth. Their repeating openings can be used as an expressive facade element or as a practical screen between spaces.
LOPO works with architects, facade consultants and contractors to coordinate pattern, color, dimensions, open-area requirements and project quantities. Product selection should be based on the intended location, supporting construction and approved physical samples.
Pattern, opening ratio, wall height, exposure and supporting frame should be reviewed together—not selected in isolation.

Terracotta screen blocks suit projects that need a permeable enclosure rather than a completely closed wall. They may be arranged as a continuous field, a framed feature panel or a smaller accent within another facade material.
- Exterior screens: balcony enclosures, sheltered facade zones, entrance features, courtyard walls and poolside privacy screens.
- Semi-open areas: circulation corridors, terraces, canopies and transition zones where air and filtered daylight are welcome.
- Interior partitions: reception areas, halls, restaurants, kitchens and feature walls that divide space without making it feel closed.
- Material combinations: framed beside glass, masonry, metal, stone or other architectural terracotta products.
