Discover the remarkable journey of LOPO Terracotta—From Clay to Skyline. As a leading architectural terracotta manufacturer in China, LOPO showcases over 20 years of expertise and commitment to sustainable development through innovative terracotta cladding products.

This page preserves a LOPO-authored company journey published on 24 October 2023. It is a dated brand record: useful for understanding how LOPO described its beginnings, product development and ambitions at that time, but not a current business-licence record, ownership statement, factory audit, capacity schedule, certificate or environmental declaration.

The archive is most useful when each milestone keeps its original date, source and evidence level. A historic narrative can open a due-diligence trail; it cannot by itself prove the legal entity, current product, available production slot, customer relationship or verified result proposed for a live order.

Keep milestones, corporate facts and current capability separate

LOPO’s current company-history page supports a limited first-party chronology. The 2023 article adds names, rankings, business figures and broad claims that need different evidence. The register below preserves the useful leads without turning them into current commitments.

Dated brand milestones and their publication boundary
RecordWhat the company archive saysEvidence statusCurrent action
2002 beginningThe 2023 journey links LOPO’s beginning to a cornerstone ceremony in Tangshan Industrial District, Guanqiao, Nan’an, Fujian. The current History page also begins the manufacturing record there in 2002.Consistent company-reported milestone; not independent legal or ownership evidence.Cite as LOPO manufacturing history. Use licences and registry records for entity formation and control.
People and ownershipThe 2023 article names Xinghua Peng and Meiyu Yang as an entrepreneurial couple who began a family-owned company. A separate 2018 LOPO profile called Peng chairman and said he established the clay-tile factory in May 2002.Dated first-party profiles. No current registry or ownership record on the page; no separate source for Yang’s role was found.Retain the names only as attributed archive claims. Verify current shareholders, directors, authorised signatories and entity relationships before legal or commercial use.
Panel developmentThe current History page records construction of a dedicated panel facility in 2008–2009, the first LOPO rainscreen entry in 2011 and additional production space/equipment in 2011–2013.Company timeline, suitable for dated brand history. For detailed date conflicts, lines and manufacturing stages, use the dedicated manufacturing-history guide; verify live plant capability separately.
2021–2022 updateThe current History page records raw-material and production-line work in 2021–2022 and company introduction of a 3600 mm extra-long tile in 2022.First-party historical milestone only.Do not infer current standard size, tooling, tolerance, yield, capacity, testing or availability. Ask for the exact current product and feasibility record.
Product familiesThe 2023 article grouped facade panels, baguettes/louvers, tiles, long-format bricks and mechanically retained brick/slip cladding.Historic portfolio summary, not an item schedule or complete-system approval.Use current catalogues and product pages to identify the proposed body/profile, dimensions, finish, support route, plant and documents.
Scale and marketThe 2023 text claimed three factories, mainland/Asian leadership, more than US$50 million annual output value and a 20% export share.Unsupported promotional numbers/rankings from one dated page. The revised 2026 About/Facilities pages do not publish them as the current position.Do not repeat as current. If relevant to qualification, obtain a dated entity/site schedule and independently check the financial or market evidence required by the buyer.
TechnologyThe article claimed a world-leading production line involving 3D printing and superior product performance. No identified line, date, process definition, product, record, comparison set, standard or result.Remove the superlative. Request the exact plant/process route and product-specific technical evidence; a factory graphic is not a test report.
RelationshipsThe article named Vanke, Financial Street, Gemdale, Longfor, Poly and China Resources as strategic alliances.Company-published 2023 relationship claim; it does not establish a current contract, project, product, quantity or LOPO role.Use only with dated client permission and a reference record defining project, date, supply, role and contact.
Certificates and environmentThe article used quality, sustainability, energy-efficiency and environmental-conservation language; the collage showed certificate images. No scoped result. The current Certificates page labels displayed files archived/reference and requires current scope and validity checks.Obtain issuer-checkable certificates and product/project environmental records. Do not infer current certification, lower carbon or environmental preference from clay, images or slogans.

Give every milestone an evidence level

A brand archive should stay readable, but its entries should not all carry the same authority. Use a simple evidence ladder so later editors, buyers and project teams can see whether an entry is a narrative lead or a decision-ready record.

Archive statement

Record the exact page, publisher, publication date, wording and image. This proves what LOPO published then—not that the claim remains current.

Current first-party consistency

Check whether a recently updated About, History, Facilities, Downloads or Certificates page still supports the same limited point. Record conflicts instead of choosing silently.

Controlled company document

For operational use, obtain a dated licence, site schedule, product drawing, capability statement, contract, inspection record or authorised declaration tied to the exact entity and scope.

Issuer, client or independent check

Where the decision requires it, verify registry status, certificate validity, client reference, financial standing, test result or environmental declaration with the responsible source.

A source can support one field without supporting the rest. For example, the current History page can support that LOPO reports a 2002 manufacturing start, while the legal incorporation date, current owner, active factory, selected product and capacity still require other records.

Complete 2023 LOPO archive equipment and production-technology graphic
Complete 800 × 512 attachment 9971, the third and final published body image. It remains a historic promotional equipment graphic, not a current equipment list, line count, capacity audit, process qualification or environmental record.

Maintain one milestone register without rewriting history

Identity fields

Record the brand wording, legal entity if known, site, people/roles, source owner, publication date, event date and whether the entry is company-authored or independently verified.

Scope fields

Name the factory, line, process, product/profile, project, client and contract role only when the source identifies them. Leave an unknown field open rather than inferring it from a photograph.

Claim fields

Separate the event from rankings, quantities, capacity, revenue, export share, performance, certification and environmental language. Give each number its unit, period, entity and source.

Status fields

Mark each entry archive-only, current-first-party, document-verified, independently checked, conflicted, superseded or unresolved. Add the reviewer, review date and next evidence action.

Before reusing a company milestone, check:

  • Is the statement clearly attributed and dated, with a stable source or captured record?
  • Does it describe the LOPO brand, a factory, a specific legal entity, a person, a product or a project?
  • Do newer first-party pages repeat, narrow, remove or contradict the claim?
  • Would the intended use require registry, issuer, client, financial, product, test or environmental verification?
  • Does the image add identity evidence, or is it only a promotional illustration with incomplete metadata?
  • Can the archive wording remain without implying current availability, capacity, certification, partnership or performance?

This page owns the dated brand-story register. The LOPO manufacturing history guide owns the detailed production chronology and conflicting line/capacity records. The LOPO corporate profile verification guide owns current public company names, entity due diligence, capability and document reconciliation.

Use the journey as a traceable archive

For a live project or qualification, send the relevant milestone and the exact entity, site, product, quantity, programme and evidence requirements. Ask LOPO to confirm what remains current in one dated response, while the 2023 narrative stays visibly historical.
