Terracotta and glass in one facade composition
The original project information describes a 33-storey hotel formed by five connected building volumes. Glazing gives the upper portions a bright, contemporary appearance, while terracotta panels introduce a warmer and more solid visual layer closer to the base.
Rather than competing with the glass curtain wall, the terracotta reads as a complementary material. Its clay colour and surface help define the lower facade and make the overall composition feel more settled.
A grounded base for the glazed upper levels
The project is a useful visual reference for balancing two materials with different characters. The reflective glass establishes the dominant vertical scale, while the terracotta rainscreen brings a warmer tone and more masonry-like presence to the lower zones.
