The building shown here belongs to the development formally recorded by its contractor as LA CADIERE Skyline / 蔚蓝卡地亚花园城国际度假中心B区. SCDA publishes the design as La Cadiere Garden City, while LOPO’s 2022 material case uses LA CADIERE CENTER. The earlier English label “Azure Cartier Center” is a literal marketing translation, not the formal English project name used by those project sources.
One project, several published names
Name differences matter here. SCDA’s project record uses La Cadiere Garden City and identifies Chengdu, China, with 2017 as the project year. Shanghai Construction Group’s October 2024 construction update uses LA CADIERE天际 and the filing-style Chinese name 蔚蓝卡地亚花园城国际度假中心B区项目. LOPO’s August 2022 case record uses LA CADIERE CENTER.
All three records refer to the Chengdu development represented in this image set, but their dates and scopes differ. This page therefore keeps the recognized LA CADIERE brand and preserves the legacy URL while avoiding “Azure Cartier” as if it were a formal project title.
Location boundary: the contractor places the project in Sichuan Tianfu New Area’s Tianfu CBD at the southern end of Tianfu Avenue. Property listings consistently describe the site as southwest of the Wuhan Road–Tianfu Avenue intersection, but no street-number-level official project source was recovered; a more precise postal address is therefore not asserted here.
Construction milestones must remain phase-specific

The 2024 contractor update anticipated a May 2025 structural topping-out milestone, not final completion. No later official completion or opening confirmation was found during this review, so this page does not declare phase 3 or the Andaz hotel open.
What the terracotta record actually confirms
LOPO’s 2022 project page attributes custom crackle-glazed terracotta panels to the project and distinguishes stepped-surface and flat-surface pieces. It describes an ice-crack visual reference associated with Song-dynasty Ge ware and places the ceramic elements alongside glass curtain walling. This is a supplier-published project attribution, not a contract, bill of quantities or third-party performance report.
The August 2024 legacy post called the installed panels 3.6 metres long. That dimension is not stated in LOPO’s dedicated 2022 LA CADIERE project record, the SCDA record or the contractor update, and no panel schedule was recovered. It has therefore been removed as an installed-project fact. The same applies to the old “world’s longest,” thermal-insulation, energy-efficiency, durability and sustainability language.
Specification boundary: no verified project source supplies the panel module, thickness, installed area, piece count, glaze or colour code, fixing system, test standard, fire classification, thermal result, warranty or maintenance regime. Request project-specific documents before using this case for design or procurement.
Area figures have different boundaries
LOPO’s 2022 case and the 2020 design-award record both give a gross floor area of 279,860 m². Shanghai Construction Group’s October 2024 update gives 389,500 m² for the three-phase B-zone development and 178,500 m² for phase 3. These figures were published at different dates for different project scopes; none is a terracotta-cladding area.
No reliable source found in this audit states the installed terracotta square metres or number of panels. Project floor area, site area and tower height cannot be converted into facade supply quantities, so this page does not attempt that calculation.
Project-team record and attribution limits
The official design and contractor records support SCDA Architects with lead architect Soo K. Chan, developer 成都花园城蔚蓝卡地亚置业有限公司, and Shanghai Construction No. 1 (Group) as main contractor. A developer-supplied 20 October 2020 project report also named Jianghe/Jangho as curtain-wall contractor, PLD as lighting consultant, Buro Happold as building-services consultant and Arup as facade consultant. Those consultant credits are useful archive context but were not independently recovered from each firm’s own project directory, so they should remain source-qualified.
LOPO’s role is likewise expressed precisely: its own project record attributes the custom crackle-glazed terracotta to LOPO. This page does not add an undocumented contract package, facade-engineering role, installation role or quantity.
