LOPO Architectural Terracotta Facade Project--Second Institute of State Oceanic Administration The project located at No. 36, Baojiao North Road, Xihu District, Hangzhou. It is a comprehensive public welfare marine research institution. A comprehensive building integrating office and scientific research. The main body of the building is a combination of yellow terracotta panel and glass curtain walls, emphasizing the rigorous,realistic and innovative spirit of scientific research.

LOPO terracotta facade is made of natural clay, which condenses the natural color of clay and has a unique artistic atmosphere. The eternal color of terracotta panel is like the highest level of scientific research “a decade of grinding a sword”. The color of the LOPO terracotta facade is accurately matched by different colors of clay. Without adding any chemical dyes, it is carefully calcined at high temperature. With the advanced LOPO temperature control technology, the natural color is interpreted, so that each panel with natural clay color. It is naturally intimate with the landscape of plants surrounding building, the panel color and brightness will be chanable according to outside natural light and weather change.
