Openwork terracotta brick walls assist in constructing poetic spaces

The combination of the hollow terracotta brick wall and the art-filled painting brings a new visual impact to those who enter this space.

Openwork terracotta brick walls assist in constructing poetic spaces introduction:

From the resonance of historical memory to the achievement of cultural consensus, the designer uses the “image” vocabulary to record the space, corresponding to the aesthetic transformation of different functional spaces, connecting the memory anchor points of each field into the overall spatial appearance of the hotel, and finally highlighting the brand gene of “humanistic, interesting and exploratory” of the hotel.

The versatility of space is interpreted to the fullest. From the extension of function to aesthetics, from scenes to images, from empathy to spiritual sublimation, what is finally presented to people is also the transition of brand personalization and artistry. The transformation of scenes, along with the progression of spatial levels, is coherent as a rich narrative of interpretation of the unknown.

The artistic construction of the forecourt, the doorway and the pendulum creates an entrance with relatively blurred boundaries. Here the designer introduces the concept of “shared hotel interface experience” to break the traditional concept of hotel forecourt.

The designer deliberately blurred the location of the reception area, and forwarded the location of the cafe & bar. The openwork terracotta brick wall becomes the first visual point when people enter the space, responding to the free atmosphere and micro-interaction properties, creating more possibilities for interaction. The natural color of the terracotta brick wall plays a big role in constructing this poetic space.

The angularity and convexity of the blocks create a new artistic perception between the top and bottom, inside and outside of the space. The original art installation tree extends branches from between the masonry partitions, forming a small landscape in the space, reducing the psychological boundaries of the public space, while the subtle sound of metal leaves colliding becomes a symbol of emotional resonance and memory interplay for the users. The combination of the hollow terracotta brick wall and the art-filled painting brings a new visual impact to those who enter this space.
