Four archive images show horizontal panel fields around the commercial entrance and strong vertical terracotta lines on the office tower. This case study retains the project’s dated product record while separating it from unverified English naming, as-built dimensions, performance and contract claims.

Identity, location and source record
The Mawei District 2018 government work report names 亿载金城 among commercial complexes that had opened and were operating in its 2017 review. A 2023 district fire-service report associates the complex with 福建清禄置业有限公司. These sources confirm the Chinese identity, commercial use and company association, but they do not identify the architect, facade team, contractor, installer or project completion date.
The WXR locates the complex at the Junzhu Road intersection in Mawei, Fuzhou, but romanises the cross street as “Shangyu.” Chinese property and neighbourhood sources identify it as 上岐路, rendered here as Shangqi Road. Exact street numbers vary across premises within the complex, so no single number is asserted.
Commercial base
The entrance image combines broad red horizontal panel fields, pale trim and an arched central opening. Signage identifies 亿载金城 and a supermarket tenant, recording use at the time of the photograph.
Office tower
Red vertical terracotta elements alternate with dark glazed bays, while pale-yellow strips mark selected edges. The files establish visual rhythm, not module dimensions or support details.
Historical reference
The supplier archive says the name and colour concept refer to Tainan’s 亿载金城 historic fort. That is retained as a dated design narrative, not presented as an independently attributed architect statement.
Four-image facade record
All WXR body images remain in their original order and full stored proportions. The existing featured attachment is also the final body image; the post-scoped layout suppresses the theme’s duplicate thumbnail so the complete file appears once without cropping.
What the dated facade record supports
A detailed June 2018 LOPO supplier page identifies T18mm and T33mm panel series, dark-red and pale-yellow colours, and 57,235.6 m² overall floor area. It further records 21,547.2 m² of office area, 13,586.6 m² of commercial area, a 23-storey tower at 99.7 m and a commercial building at 20.8 m. The shorter August WXR instead says “nearly 60,000 m²,” four commercial floors and an 18-floor office building. Because these dated supplier descriptions conflict, none is promoted as independently verified as-built data.
The detailed source describes vertically oriented panel installation above the sixth floor and horizontal installation in commercial areas below the fifth floor, with special facade pieces at eaves and window edges. This documents design intent and orientation only: it is not an approved fixing detail, current product schedule or evidence that one attachment method can be transferred to another building.
Recover the approved panel schedule
For repair or reuse, obtain approved samples, shop drawings, as-built elevations, production records and installed-location references. Confirm T18mm/T33mm series designations, face sizes, colours, surfaces, batches and spare stock rather than relying on the article.
Coordinate orientation changes
Resolve transitions between horizontal commercial fields and vertical tower lines, including corners, openings, eaves, parapets, movement joints, base conditions and glazing interfaces.
Verify the complete assembly
Responsible designers and engineers must confirm substrate, supports, anchors, loads, movement, water management, cavity/fire interfaces, tolerances, inspection and replacement access for the actual jurisdiction and building.
Case-study limits
- Do not treat either 2018 article date as the project opening or completion year.
- Do not convert overall, office or commercial floor areas into terracotta facade area or piece quantity.
- Do not infer panel face dimensions, surface codes, current availability or system details from the T18mm/T33mm series labels or photographs.
- Do not assign design, manufacture, installation or contract responsibility beyond the dated supplier attribution.
- Do not use the archive’s “green building,” low-carbon, fire, water, structural, durability or other performance language without project-specific current evidence.
