This 2017 archive documents handmade red clay brick display walls at the STARARTS STONE showroom.
The photographs show bricks projected at different depths to form curved and relief-like surfaces, then combined with carved and cut stone displays. The source identifies the place and visual concept, but not the brick dimensions, wall build-up, design team, installation system or performance evidence.
Project identity and evidence limits
The old page’s generic title, “LOPO Clay Wall Bricks Project in China,” did contain a specific identity in the closing paragraph: STARARTS STONE. It describes the company as working in stone design, processing and installation and places the showroom in Hui’an, Quanzhou, Fujian, China.
The archive says the red handmade wall brick was one of LOPO’s then-new products and associates it with this showroom. It does not define whether LOPO designed the walls, supplied all brick, fabricated stone, engineered supports, installed the work or held another contractual role. Those responsibilities are not inferred.
Curved relief made with projected brick courses
The first photograph shows a tall red brick display wall whose face moves inward and outward. Repeated units project by different amounts, creating a curved relief and deep shadow pattern while the outer edge returns to a straighter plane.

The source called the layout mechanically informed but supplied no drawing, calculation, unit dimensions, bond, restraint, backing or construction sequence. The replacement therefore describes the visible geometry only. A current project must have qualified parties establish how every unit is supported and retained, including projected pieces and edges near occupants.
Depth variation across a long display wall
The second archive view shows a long brick field with some units set farther forward than others. Longer and shorter projected runs create a deliberately irregular rhythm. A horizontal stone element passes through the composition, requiring a clear interface between brick, stone, backing and any display or service components.

Module and relief
Define brick dimensions, bond, projection schedule, tolerances, joints, end conditions and transitions in coordinated drawings. Do not measure a production pattern from this compressed photograph.
Support and retention
Verify substrate, bonding or mechanical support as applicable, gravity and lateral actions, projecting-unit leverage, edge conditions, movement and retention through the responsible project team.
Stone interface
Assign support, tolerances, joints, differential movement, installation sequence and replacement access for brick and stone as separate coordinated materials.
Occupied-space conditions
Review impact, sharp/protruding edges, falling-object risk, circulation clearances, accessibility, cleaning and public contact for the actual showroom use.
Brick and stone as a showroom display composition
The third photograph shows red brick fields behind pale stone slabs and sculptural stone samples with circular cut-outs. Curved openings in the brick follow parts of the stone composition. The image confirms a visual relationship between the two materials but not their structural relationship.

For a comparable partition, coordinate openings, cut units, returns, support frames, independent stone loads, overhead pieces, services, lighting, access and replacement. No visible unit should be assumed to carry an adjacent stone component unless the engineered documents expressly establish that load path.
Unsupported performance claims removed
The former page listed no-fade, high compressive strength, low water absorption, acid/corrosion/freeze/cold/wear resistance, fireproofing and fast installation as general advantages. It cited no item, dimensions, test method, result, standard, wall assembly or installation system. None of those claims is carried into the replacement.
Current product and assembly performance must be supported by identified samples and technical documents relevant to the selected brick, manufacturing batch or range, substrate, fixing/bonding system, joints, exposure and governing project requirements. A fired-clay material name or completed photograph is not evidence for a different construction.
Build a current sample, mock-up and approval plan
- current brick item, body, colour/texture range, dimensions, tolerances and intended faces;
- wall survey, module, bond, relief/projection schedule, openings, returns and edge treatment;
- substrate, attachment or bonding approach, movement, support/retention and responsible engineer;
- stone weights/supports, interfaces, joints, tolerances, service openings and installation sequence;
- interior fire/smoke, impact, accessibility, hygiene/cleaning and occupied-space requirements;
- representative mock-up including maximum projection, curved transition, stone interface and repair; and
- approval criteria, hold points, inspection records, nonconformance closure and handover information.
Use physical range samples to approve colour and handmade variation. The mock-up should prove the intended appearance and constructability at representative scale, but it does not replace calculations, material evidence or regulatory review.
Coordinate installation and long-term access
The source did not document an “easy and fast” installation method. A current contractor must work from approved project drawings, product/system instructions and a site-specific safety and installation plan.

Final material selection, wall design, support/retention, installation and compliance remain project-specific.
