The project is located in Chinggis Khan Street, Xincheng District, Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. The project was completed in June 2014. The total area of the LOPO Terracotta panel curtain wall is 14,600m2, and the building has 29 floors above the ground. The project uses LOPO Terracotta T18 thick, brown ceramic plate. The total architectural planning area of the project is 560,700 square meters. It will be divided into three phases of development, including 17-storey and 33-storey high-rise residential buildings, 20-storey apartment garden houses, and commercial office buildings. It will also be equipped with clubs, kindergartens, supermarkets, and other living facilities. The project strives to create a high-quality residential community that is comfortable, beautiful, convenient, and has a rich living space environment, establishes the image of a boutique and famous brand, and drives the development of the new urban area.
Terracotta curtain wall is regarded as a relatively new material in China. The raw material of the terracotta panel is natural clay, and a small amount of other materials are added. LOPO Terracotta panel has relatively high strength, hardness and surface precision formed through multiple processes such as finishing of the raw material, extrusion molding with European extrusion equipment, drying, and high-temperature kiln firing. And in the high temperature is above 1100℃. The terracotta curtain wall gives the building a solemn and strong artistic beauty, organically combining traditional materials with modern architecture.
