The board items are separate archived references from the PW623 hero image. Do not assume they form one approved set, use the same digital artwork, share current dimensions or can be mixed in production. Ask for a current mapping of each proposed item code to its physical sample and pattern variant.
Map printed variants before approving an elevation
Confirm the pattern library
List the current artwork or variant IDs available for the selected panel. Record the item, body, surface, base color, sheen and date so a generic “wood look” label cannot substitute for a defined finish.
Study repeat at facade scale
Place multiple full-size units in the proposed joint rhythm. Review how often distinctive knots, streaks or tonal zones recur and whether repetition becomes noticeable at the intended viewing distance.
Set orientation rules
Define horizontal or vertical grain direction, permitted rotations, mirrored use if available, cut pieces, returns and corner transitions. Confirm that the proposed operations are compatible with the current product.
Create an elevation map
Assign each panel position a panel ID and approved pattern variant. Coordinate openings, corners, parapets, floor lines and replacement units rather than leaving distribution to an undefined site decision.
Control scale and crop
If custom artwork is being considered, document image scale, crop, resolution, color reference and repeat tile. Current file formats, production limits and feasibility must come from the manufacturer.
Plan for lots and replacements
Define how production lots will be compared with the approved range and how spare units will be identified and stored. Do not assume a later run will be visually identical.

- Production comparison: agree how the current lot will be assessed against the signed sample/range before shipment or installation.

Coordinate the finish with the complete facade
A printed terracotta unit works with clips, rails, brackets, anchors, joints, cavity, insulation, air-and-water control layers, flashings, fire stopping and the supporting wall. Pattern approval cannot replace facade engineering or project compliance review.
Define structural actions, wind, impact, moisture, fire, thermal, acoustic, movement, durability, access, maintenance and applicable-code requirements for the actual configuration. Use current product data, calculations, details, samples and project-specific testing where required. Do not claim that the wood-look image is non-combustible, fade-proof, weather-proof, maintenance-free or environmentally preferable without applicable current evidence and a stated scope.
Archived application claims need a current review
The 2016 article marketed the product for new and renovated exterior walls; metro, railway, tunnel and other underground projects; European- or American-style architecture and villa walls or roofs; ceilings; office buildings and commercial podiums; interior walls; and surgery rooms, clean rooms, pharmaceutical facilities and food-production workshops.
That list is preserved as historical context, not approval evidence. Each use needs its own review of substrate, exposure, fixing, movement, structural actions, fire strategy, enclosure details, access, hygiene or emissions criteria, cleanability and governing codes.
Request current wood-look patterns and samples
Send the project location, elevation drawings, target module, archived item references, intended pattern direction, estimated quantity, required standards, delivery destination and programme. Ask which pattern variants and mapping support are currently feasible before naming PW623, PW627, PW626 or PW625 in a specification.
