  • In 2002, LOPO Clay Tile launched the cornerstone-laying ceremony in Tangshan Industrial District, Guanqiao Town, Nan’an, Fujian Province. It  not only opened a new chapter for LOPO to be the largest and most competitive manufacturer of clay tile in China, but also unveiled the new and glorious era for LOPO.
  • On Apr.22, 2003, the first extrusion molding clay tile was born, which originated from the wisdom and efforts of all people in LOPO. This kind of brick is shaped under vacuum extrusion and baked in high-temperature tunnel kiln with high-quality clay materials adopted, which creates an unfading charm.
  • In 2003, LOPO Cultured Stone factory was founded, which indicated that LOPO had begun the production of cultured stone. With strong capabilities of R&D, we are able to provide diversified and personalized choice for architects and developers.
  • In 2004, LOPO Cultured Stone has come out. Characterized by thousands of special shapes and amazing colors, the cultured stone products represent the natural and original texture of real stone vividly which are perfectly meet the people’s need of nature-honoring and nature-returning.
  • In 2004, clay tile with multiple blending colors was successfully produced in LOPO. Adopted unique formulation and technology, a piece of clay tile can gain special blending colors while firing in the high-temperature kiln.
  • In 2004, hand-made clay tile announced its first appearance. This type of tile is of originality with the inspiration coming from the beach in Gulangyu Island, Xiamen. Polished by hand and weathered in high pressure with delicate manual processing for rock surface, clay surface and quick-sand surface, the natural water-eroded surface.
  • In 2005, the clay tile of flame color was produced. With the improvement of manufacture craft, the color of clay tile is of great nature.
  • In 2006, the clay tile of metallic color came into the market, which was firstly created by LOPO in China.
  • In 2008, LOPO became the largest production base of clay tile in China, which has three most advanced production lines in China with full-automatic temperature-controlling tunnel kiln with annual production of 4, 500, 000 square meters of clay tiles and 600, 000 square meters of cultured stone.
  • In 2009, the first handmade clay brick tile was produced by LOPO in China.
  • In 2009, LOPO Terracotta Panel launched the cornerstone-laying ceremony in Changtai Economic and Technical Development Zone, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. In 2009, LOPO established strategic and cooperative partnership with well-know real estate enterprise – Vanke Co., Ltd.
  • In 2010, LOPO established strategic and cooperative partnership with Financial Street Holding Co., Ltd. and China Merchants Real Estate (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd..
  • In 2011, LOPO art terracotta acquired Fujian FGM Terracotta panel co., Ltd. and began to have two large brands of LOPO terracotta panel and FGM terracotta panel afterwards.
  • On Apr.21, 2011, the first terracotta rainscreen of LOPO got its start, declaring that the innovation ability of LOPO in terracotta curtain wall is heading towards a higher level.
  • In 2011, LOPO established strategic and cooperative partnership with Gemdale Group, Fangyuan Land Holding Co., Ltd., Beijing Huayuan Property Co., Ltd. and Wharf(Xuxi) Real Estate Co., Ltd..
  • In August, 2012, Chinese first lychee-shaped terracotta facade with self-cleaning function was produced in Changtai production base of LOPO. Now LOPO has become the largest professional producer for terracotta building products in China.
  • In Nov, 2012, the world’s first piece of multifunctional ground heating floor paver was produced in Changtai factory of LOPO and successfully applied for the patent.
  • In 2012, LOPO established strategic and cooperative partnership with Shenzhen Li Cheng Real Estate Consultant Co., Ltd, and CITIC Real Estate Co., Ltd. So for LOPO has established long-term cooperative partnership with over 20 well-known real estate enterprises such as Longhu, Poly, China Resources etc.
  • In 2012, LOPO established strategic and cooperative partnership with Shenzhen Li Cheng Real Estate Consultant Co., Ltd, and CITIC Real Estate Co., ltd. So for LOPO has established long-term cooperative partnership with over 20 well-known real estate enterprises such as Longhu, Poly, China Resources etc.
  • In 2013, LOPO Terracotta factory enlarged the production shop and built a new production line.
  • In 2013, LOPO established business cooperation relationship with the biggest construction company in Japan.
  • In 2015, LOPO developed terracotta tiles using ceramic inkjet technology to create new ideas in building curtain wall decoration.
  • In 2016, Designed by Foster-Partners, the hand-made wall tile is used for the project of the South Campus of China Resources University. In 2016, LOPO Terracotta set a sales record with a remarkable 700,000 square meters sold.
  • By 2017, our sales soared to 900,000 square meters, making us the industry leader for the first time. That year, we pioneered China’s inaugural curved tile, a game-changer that accentuated the elegance and aesthetics of curved architecture.
  • In 2018, sales further increased to 1.1 million square meters. This growth was complemented by the successful launch of innovative glaze finishes, solidifying our reputation as a provincial high-tech enterprise with a tax contribution surpassing 10 million.
  • 2019 saw sustained growth with sales maintaining at 1.2 million square meters, and for the second consecutive year, our tax contribution exceeded 10 million.
  • This trend persisted into 2020 and 2021, with sales consistently at 1.2 million square meters and our tax contributions continuing to exceed the 10 million mark. 2021 marked another milestone as LOPO Terracotta seamlessly integrated high-end glaze technologies with digital inkjet finishes, epitomizing our commitment to innovation. The year also saw the inception of our new raw material workshop and a third production line.
  • 2022 was a breakthrough year with the unveiling of our proprietary wet raw material processing system, armed with multiple patents. The resultant terracotta products stood out for their unparalleled density, texture, and vibrant color palette. Additionally, our third production line successfully began operations, introducing the global market to the revolutionary extra-long (3600mm) terracotta tile.
  • As we step into 2023, LOPO remains unwavering in its pursuit of excellence and innovation.
  • Today, we’re proud to have forged strategic alliances with industry giants like Vanke Group Purchase, Financial Street Holdings, and Gemdale Group, to name a few. Our longstanding collaborations also span across prominent developers like Longfor, Poly, and China Resources, fortifying our position in the market.
